As a seasonal Customer Care Specialist, your primary responsibilities will be getting to know our customers and making their day by helping them find the perfect gift. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to drive sales through genuine customer interaction and active listening, as well as be comfortable using technology for point-of-sale transactions and inventory maintenance.

Your anticipated start date would be early to mid November, with the expectation to work a set schedule through the end of December.

Role Requirements

  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience, ideally in a retail environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and teammates
  • A continuous improvement mindset in all aspects of the role
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot, asking for input and guidance when appropriate.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and coaching, implementing changes immediately
  • Remaining stationary for periods of time (such as while working register) and traversing the store frequently for the duration of the shift
  • Availability to work open-close (6-8 hours) on scheduled days
  • Availability to be scheduled Black Friday and/or Small Business Saturday
  • Availability to be scheduled through Christmas Eve (we close by 3pm)
