We are currently accepting resumes for a full-time Cub Shrub Customer Care Specialist.

As a Customer Care Specialist, your primary responsibilities will be getting to know our customers and making their day by helping them find the perfect gift. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to drive sales through genuine customer interaction and active listening, as well as be comfortable frequently using technology for point-of-sale transactions and other tasks. Those who love meeting new people and solving unique challenges will excel in this role! Schedule and start date are negotiable, but at least one weekend shift per week is required.

This position requires the following:

Knowledge of child development for ages 0-5
Strong desire to build relationships with customers and help them choose age-appropriate products
Strong and effective active listening skills, with the ability to anticipate customer needs
Prioritization of tasks and working independently
Operating our point-of-sale technology to complete transactions and research product information with efficiency
Using a computer for multiple hours a day to accurately and efficiently enter product shipments into our database
Remaining stationary for periods of time and traversing the store frequently for the duration of the shift
Occasionally ascend/descend ladders of various heights to access products and materials
Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and teammates
Maintaining reliability and punctuality by consistently meeting work schedule expectations
Demonstrating honesty and trustworthiness, taking ownership of mistakes and actively working to improve
Enthusiasm for Cub Shrub products and the ability to showcase this passion to customers
Personal style that aligns with the brand and fosters a positive shopping experience
Willingness to work some holidays as scheduled and the days surrounding holidays, especially Thanksgiving (off Thanksgiving Day) and Christmas (off Christmas Day)
Ability to work full shifts (7-8 hours) during store's open hours
